Program Your Kids Against Drugs is a service provided by the Palm Beach County Substance Abuse Coalition in an effort to help parents find fun ways to deal with the serious issues of childhood and early adolescence. This web site is designed to help you instantly locate activities that we call "Programs" that have proven to assist kids and families in their journey to a happy, healthy, drug free home and community. The agencies included on the web page "FIND MODEL PROGRAMS" are reviewed on an annual basis by the Department of Children and Families Substance Abuse and Mental Health Program Office. Background screening has been completed on all staff, and other assurances are in place.  

Mission

To provide evidenced based practices, that will create an increase in family management which will assist families in having a no use standard for substances which can lead to abuse, therefore reducing peer pressure, and increasing age of first use among youth In keeping with the mission of the Program Your Kids Against Drugs referral partnership, the Palm Beach County Substance Abuse Coalition, (PBC SAC), is coordinating agencies to refer services to who are providers of adult, youth and children substance abuse prevention services in the county. The supportive portion of the coalition effort begins with the agencies that might or might not be state licensed for these services. The objectives of this expanded service to parents, youth and the community will be partly measured by the Florida Youth Substance Abuse Survey and include a reduction in the following Core Measures for risk factors: 1. Perception of risk or harm 2. Age of onset of any drug use 3. Frequency of use in the past 30 days 4. Perception of disapproval of use by peers and adults
